TV Cooking 101

              Dan & Steve will show you the tricks of the trade – from reading a teleprompter, to mastering "swap outs", to bringing your demo in on time. Grab a glass of wine or one of The Hearty Boys signature punches and root your friends on (or laugh as they crash and burn). This is a hands on session where you will learn what it really means to host your own TV cooking show.  Looks easy doesn't it?

Includes personal session with Dan and Steve (cooking demo and walkthrough training), Professional Videographer team, Stage Manager/Host, exclusive use of Studio, "Craft Services" studio snacks, soft drinks, and professionally edited keepsake DVD of your experience.

Bloopers 101

              A great party night with your friends. Dan and Steve will throw different glitches into your demo and see how you handle them – remember – NEVER STOP COOKING!!!  This is the perfect evening for a group of close friends who love to eat, drink and laugh at each other. This class is most fun if you book it without warning your guests!

Corporate Events and Team Building

Everyone said we had it easy on Food Network Star because we were a team; HAH! Teams will compete in a Secret Ingredient Competition organizing and preparing a menu.  Team Captains will then get up on the kitchen set and attempt to successfully execute an on camera cooking demo with a partner.  Dan and Steve will be on hand to coach and judge. Your salesperson can help you with customized menu options, liquor packages, and gift bags.

Other Options

  • Host an event in our space.  We can accomodate up to 40 guests for a seated dinner. Or throw a cocktail party with passed and buffet hors doeuvres for up to 70 guests!
  • Have the guests enjoy a menu that Dan and Steve have personally demo'd!

 

Open registration sessions for TV Cooking 101(for couples, singles, groups under 12) are available twice monthly.

Private event bookings are taken on a first come basis and are dependent on Dan and Steve's appearance schedule.

All sessions include The Hearty Boys "Craft Services" table filled with cheeses, crackers, fresh fruit and assorted dips.  Soft drinks are also included.

Open Bar liquor package of Beer, Wine and Specialty Cocktails are available (and recommended!) at a cost of $20 per guest.
