Ordering Tips

No one wants to run out of food on Thanksgiving.  At the same time, we don’t want to try to oversell you, so here are the GENERAL guidelines of what people eat at a meal.

Soups: a quart should feed 4 guests.

Veggies and Potatoes and Stuffings:  1/3 pound per guest.

Gravy: a pint should serve 4.  Gravy is one of those sides that some families can’t get enough of, order 2 pints if you’re one of them.

Cranberry Sauce: 1 pt easily feeds 6 – 8 guests.

Turkey: 1 pound per guest (if this sounds like a lot, it’s because you need to take the weight of the bones into consideration).

Pies: will feed 8 – 10.

Be sure to order more if you are, like most of us, a lover of Thanksgiving leftovers!

Turkeys can be ordered prestuffed with your choice of dressing. We’ll dress and prepare your turkey and present it in a disposable roasting pan. Your job will be to turn on the oven and remember to take the turkey back out. Directions will be provided. If you do not at least cook your turkey in your kitchen and get the aromas going, your loved ones will not believe you spent all week preparing the rest of the food…they will see you for the deceitful holiday slacker you’ve become and not the glorious hard working chef you want them to think you are. (Remember to peel off all Hearty Boys stickers and rest assured that we’ll pretend we’ve never seen you before if a loved one calls to check.)
